Shopping Centers are Turning Into Mobility Hubs. Our Latest Partner: King Cross Zagreb

Eleport and King Cross Zagreb

The new Eleport‘s charging site is designed to combine charging with a visit. King Cross in Zagreb, Croatia, is leaning into that shift, and Eleport’s new charging site there is designed to make charging feel like part of the visit, not a detour.

Eleport opened a new EV charging hub at King Cross Zagreb (Ul. Velimira Škorpika 34), combining ultra-fast DC charging with AC charging in one location for the largest charging hub in the country.

The site is designed for both local drivers and the steady stream of travelers passing through the city’s western gateway.

20 Charging Points to Use: 12 Ultra-fast DC and 8 AC

The new Eleport site at King Cross includes:

  • 12 ultra-fast DC charging points with up to 400 kW max output per charging point;
  • 8 AC charging points via 4 AC chargers with up to 11 kW max output per AC charging point;
  • A protective canopy ensures a high level of comfort and safety by shielding users from sun, rain, and snow.

The site connection is a whopping 1.3 MW (1300 kW), which is dynamically distributed across the DC field.

As per usual with Eleport, charging at the King Cross site is easy when using the Eleport App.

Great Location for a charge

This location holds strong strategic value for Eleport due to both its central urban position and its excellent transit connectivity. King Cross serves as a key junction linking Zagreb with its surrounding cities, as well as international routes towards Slovenia, Austria, Bosnia, Serbia, and the Adriatic coast.

The user experience at King Cross will win the heart of any EV driver, as it is one of Zagreb’s earliest and most established shopping centers, carrying long-standing recognition and customer loyalty. With the center currently undergoing modernization, the installation of advanced charging infrastructure aligns perfectly with its transition. EV drivers can benefit from the extensive amenities available within the shopping center, allowing them to comfortably spend their charging time outside their cars.
