Eleport’s new CEO, Jakub Miler plans to accelerate the companie’s growth in new markets

Eleport, a leading electric vehicle charging points operator in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), announced the appointment of Jakub Miler as its new Chief Excecutive Officer (CEO). Raul Potisepp, the founder and current Eleport’s CEO, remains at the board and will assume the role of Chief Growth Officer at the company.

Eleport Group operates over 800 charging points in Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania at the moment. By the end of this year, Eleport plans to reach 1350 operational charging points. With the addition of Jakub Miler as Eleport’s CEO, plans to accelerate its growth in new CEE markets.

Jakub Miler brings over 15 years of international leadership experience to Eleport’s team. Over this period, he held numerous executive-level positions that involved leading operations and expansion across multiple countries, as well as investing and supporting sustainable energy companies and executing growth and funding strategies.

Sustainable energy presents an exceptional business opportunity due to its rapidly evolving landscape, offering small enterprises the potential to grow exponentially in a short period of time. But beyond its economic potential, it offers us a profound sense of purpose by positively impacting both people and the planet – said Jakub Miler.

After 8 years of growing Eleport from zero to one of the leading players in CEE, it is time to pass on CEO position. Jakub is a strong addition to Eleport given his vast experience and has all the pre-requisites to further the company, taking it to the next levels. I will remain active in the company as Chief Growth Officer and will focus on growth of the company, which means identifying new business opportunities, entering into new markets and acquiring companies.  – commented Raul Potisepp, founder and Chief Growth Officer of the Eleport Group.

Considering the existing network efficiency and the current pipeline of new projects, the company anticipates a remarkable year-on-year revenue increase of around 300% in 2024, reflecting a significant growth trajectory.

Building good companies is a huge challenge, but turning good companies into great organisations is often even harder. I am excited to join Eleport because I am really impressed by what the team has achieved so far – I am sure we have what it takes to deliver on our mission to ensure that our part of Europe remains connected in a sustainable way, while leaving no one behind in this great transformation process – added Jakub Miler.
