Eleport and Supernova Group Join Forces to Deploy Nearly 200 Ultra-Fast EV Chargers Across 30 Locations in Croatia and Slovenia
Tallinn, Estonia / Zagreb, Croatia, June 2025
Eleport, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, has entered a strategic partnership with the Supernova Group, one of the region’s most prominent retail real estate operators. This collaboration will bring nearly 200 ultra-fast charging points to 30 Supernova shopping centers across Croatia and Slovenia, addressing the growing demand for fast and reliable EV charging in urban and transit areas.
This large-scale rollout reflects Eleport’s broader mission to build long-term partnerships that drive innovation and deliver tangible impact far beyond the scope of a traditional vendor-client relationship. The joint initiative with Supernova aims to create premium charging destinations that improve the customer experience and raise the standard for EV infrastructure in retail environments.
The first installations are scheduled to go live between June and July 2025, with six flagship sites leading the initial phase: Supernova Jastrebarsko, Supernova Garden Mall, Supernova Zadar, Supernova Šibenik, Branimir Mingle Mall in Croatia, and Supernova Ljubljana Rudnik in Slovenia.
These pilot locations represent the first step in a strategic expansion to all 30 Supernova sites, 13 in Croatia and 17 in Slovenia, making fast and accessible EV charging a reality for drivers across the region.
More than 98% of the new charging points will be DC chargers, with power outputs of up to 400 kW per unit. This will position Supernova locations among the most advanced and efficient EV charging hubs in the region, ideal for drivers seeking speed and convenience.
“At Eleport, we’re committed to building high-powered, reliable charging sites with multiple plugs in the most convenient locations, providing our customers with ultra-fast and seamless charging experiences. Our partnership with Supernova helps us deliver next-generation mobility hubs that anchor our expansion across Central and Eastern Europe.”
Jakub Miler, CEO of Eleport
“Our partnership with Eleport is a natural extension of our strategic commitment to sustainability and investment in green technologies. We are fully aware of the urgency of climate change and our responsibility to be part of the solution, not only through our business operations, but as a socially responsible company. In recent years, we’ve already taken significant steps, including the installation of photovoltaic solar power plants at many of our centers, helping reduce CO₂ emissions and boosting energy independence. Our customers and visitors increasingly recognize and appreciate these efforts, which motivates us to keep going.”
Markus Pinggera, CEO of Supernova Group
By introducing ultra-fast EV charging in partnership with Eleport, we are improving the quality of the customer experience and embedding sustainability even deeper into our everyday operations. This collaboration marks another important milestone in our long-term vision, turning Supernova centers into modern, energy-efficient hubs and actively contributing to positive, green transformation in our society.”
This initiative is a key part of Eleport’s broader strategy to expand across Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on fast charging in premium retail locations. Supernova’s shopping centers are ideally positioned to support this approach, enabling EV drivers to charge their vehicles while shopping, dining, or spending leisure time.
With installations already underway, the project stands as a strong testament to Eleport’s ability to deliver large-scale, future-ready EV charging solutions that meet the evolving needs of today’s and tomorrow’s users.
